Like Dr. Myles Munroe said, “Die empty.” I don’t want to take my gifts to the grave, and I’ve seen too many women with degrees, businesses, and brilliance still feel like they’re not enough.
The Self Discovery to Overcome Imposter Syndrome Journal helps women of color confront the lies, reclaim their voice, and walk in clarity—so nothing God placed in them goes unused.
This isn’t just another journal. Self-Discovery to Overcome Imposter Syndrome is a transformational tool created from the inside out.
Every prompt, every reflection exercise, every word—was born from deep inner work I’ve done myself. I didn’t just write this journal… I lived it.
So when I say it can help you glean insight and transform your life—I’m speaking from experience. It’s a collection of everything I’ve learned about healing, clarity, and confidence wrapped into one powerful resource.
If you’re tired of second-guessing your worth… If you want to stop shrinking in rooms you were meant to shift… If you’re ready to silence self-doubt and trust your voice again…
As the world quiets down tonight, give yourself the gift that often goes unopened: rest. You’ve carried a lot this year—expectations, unspoken doubts, silent battles. Tonight, release it all. You are enough without performing. You are worthy without proving. You are whole, even when you pause.
✨ May peace wrap around you like a warm blanket tonight. You don’t have to earn rest. You deserve it.
Take a moment with your journal tonight and write one thing you’re releasing before the new year begins. Let this be the start of your restoration…
At first, I was just following my passion for journaling and helping people. But once I took the time to define my personal calling statement, everything shifted.
I started asking myself: Who are the clients I feel most energized working with? The answer was clear—powerful women of color, especially African-American professionals from all walks of life: CEOs, doctors, veterans, creatives… And yet, they all had something in common—they still doubted themselves.
Despite their titles and talents, they were struggling with Imposter Syndrome—believing they didn’t belong, didn’t know enough, or weren’t “ready.”
So I created the Self-Discovery to Overcome Imposter Syndrome Journal— A reflection tool designed to help women hear their voice again, reclaim their confidence, and walk fully in their God-given identity.
✨ You don’t have to shrink in rooms you were meant to shift.

This journal came from me doing the personal work of really defining my niche—or as I like to say, my metron—the group I feel deeply called to serve. I took time to reflect on the clients who left me feeling elated after a session. The ones who showed up ready to do the work and committed to change, even when it was uncomfortable.
They came from all kinds of backgrounds—CEOs, creatives, ministry leaders—but they had one thing in common: they lacked the confidence and mindset to fully believe they were equipped to be in the very rooms they were already in. That stood out to me. Because from the outside looking in, these women were doing the thing. Accomplished. Brilliant. Educated. But on the inside, they were second-guessing every step.
It really hurts my heart. Because I could see what they couldn’t always see—that they were already enough. It grieves me that so many women don’t see themselves the way God sees them. They doubt the very fabric of who they authentically are.
So I created this journal as a safe place for that inner work—to confront the false narratives, reclaim truth, and walk boldly in your God-given identity. It’s more than pages and prompts. It’s a personal invitation to return to yourself.
If you trusted your voice, would you apply for that job? Launch that business? Share that idea? Speak up in that meeting?
The truth is, Imposter Syndrome has quieted your voice for far too long. It convinces you to second-guess, to shrink, to stay silent—even when your intuition is loud and clear.
But what if you trusted your voice?
You’d apply for that job you’ve been dreaming about—even if it feels out of reach. You’d start that business someone is literally waiting on to solve their problem. You’d stop holding back that brilliant idea—the one that could shift a conversation, a company, maybe even a community.
Sometimes, trusting your voice isn’t just about you. It’s about the people who need your leadership, your truth, your courage.
You’d say the thing others are thinking but too afraid to speak. You’d become the creator, the visionary, the innovator—just like the people who invented the everyday tools we now take for granted.
It’s time to trust your voice. God has already placed everything you need inside of you. Now it’s time to move. To build. To speak. To execute.
I’ve been told that I am my own worse critic when it comes to self critiques. That statement is very true about a certain group of women who suffer with Imposter Syndrome. We can be meaner to ourselves than anyone walking this earth. Do a deep dive into the journal prompt question of the day.
With Imposter Syndrome, there is a tendency to lean towards hyper-independence when receiving help. Whether it is pride that stands in the way or thinking one needs to do everything by themselves, this is a factor for some. Ask yourself this question and journal about it.
For some women of color, there is a tendency to dim your light or minimize accomplishments. Do a deep dive today by thinking about this aspect of imposter syndrome.
